Too much fun pictured above, but what can I say, I love my guy friends.

So I know I post a lot of posts about dating and sports so we are going to branch out for a post or two! This post is dedicated to all those guy friends out there that love ya just the way you are, I LOVE YOU.

Ever since I could remember, I have loved things that guys loved: being competitive, sports, video games, beer and anything else you can think of I probably enyoyed it. With that being said, I always found a different sense of myself shared between my guy friends and me. Don't get me wrong your girlfriends are important but so are your guy friends!

I am sure you are all thinking this, "No girls can be JUST friends with guys."

WRONG.

Sure, there might be times when someone develops feelings or whatever but that's not the case. I have always enjoyed hanging out with the guys watching a game or whatever cause I'm a gamer and I always have been. When it comes to competitions, count me in. When it comes to Mario Party, count me in. When it comes to Sundays watching football all day long, count me in. When it comes to kayaking for hours, count me in.

I have some of the same guy friends since Elementary school, crazy right?! These guys have taught me so much about myself and I'm sure I've taught them a thing or two. Since we've been friends for so long, I feel comfortable sharing things with them that I wouldn't want to share with a girlfriend.

The best part of having a group of guy BFFs is that there is rarely anything you can do to embarass yourself.

If you go out super late and get wasted, they got you.

When a boy breaks your heart, they break his face.

When your sad, they take your mind off of things like a Fantasy Football bracket and how insanely into it they get (I can't blame em'!)

When you need to vent, they're all ears and usually with a different perspective than your girlfriends.

Most importantly, they don't sugar coat anything. They are 110% honest with you and sometimes even too honest.

"Nice dress, could it be any shorter?"

I've heard multiple times. LOL. But the truth is, they are ALWAYS looking out for you. They put you before themselves and their actions show it.

Whether it is physically picking you up or helping you get up, they're always there for you. Thick and thin, baby!

They are always down for a good time too and the best part is all you need to do is buy a beer to make them happy. Plus, they don't take 5 hrs to get ready (Sorry ladies, I can't handle it!)

They embrace your weirdness for greatness, which is probably my most favorite feature about all of my guy friends. They all know I'm sassy as heck but they love it. They don't let any guys get sassy with me but they know I can handle it on my own. I l love them for that.

Silly selfies all the time? You guessed it. One of the best part of having guy friends is all the shameless things you can make them do. Also, guys if you don't have a lot of girlfriends you are doing it wrong. Girls make the BEST wingmans or womans, whatever. Lol.

Turning up anyday of the week? He's down. Also, the best times out always include your crazy guy friends. They turn the most boring nights at the bar to the most memorable nights. Birthdays are clearly another level, pictured above.

Concerts/festivals are the best with your guy friends because they are like a block wall, NO CREEPER GUYS CAN BREAK THROUGH TO GET TO YOU. AMAZING.

Ups and downs, highs and lows, your guy friends are in it for the long haul. We love them for their honesty and loyalty, such a refreshing trait to have.

So there you have it guys and gals, my guy friends rock! (sorry to those who aren't pictured, please don't kill me)

Why do you love your guy friends?

Xoxo,

A Guy's Girl
