The Types of Friends You Make In College

College is amazing for many reasons but one of the biggest reasons is the lifelong friends you make while attending your school.

Of course, it was nerve wrecking as all hell going in as a Freshman again (even though I transferred as a Junior) I still felt like fresh-meat because I really didn't know anyone. I have never been shy or afraid to talk to new people and meet new friends. The thought of not being around my middle school/high school bffs scared me though! Was I never going to meet friends as amazing as my friends from home?

That freaked me out! But I am not new to new experiences so I really enjoyed making new friends at USC. USC, yes it's a party school (but what college isn't n some way?) USC, is known for admitting kids in with incredibly high GPAs and paren'ts trust funds, I know one part is true. And I'm talking about the brains. It has been a privledge to know some of the smartest young minds I have ever known.

Wanna know a secret? Half of them are my best friends.

So let's get down to it! Here are the types of friends I've made in college....

1. The Trust Fund Baby

This friend pays for everything and feels no shame about it. There parents own some Island or some huge company in New York and they drive a hot little mercedes and skip class A LOT. You have loads of fun with them and they introduce you to the finer things in life which is always an adventure.

2. The Rebel

This friend literally DGAF. They party a lot and listen to a lot of metal or rock music they are always annoyed by people doing stereotypical things like attending Coachella. If you skip class with this kid, you'll probably graffitti something together and feel really badass doing it.

3. The Virgin Mary

This friend is adament saving himself/herself till marriage. This friend is super nice and has a heart of gold.

4. The Crazy Chick

This chick is nuts. She has more drama in one weekend than you've ever had in your entire life. She is the life of the party and she hooks up with about 10+ guys a weekend and feels no shame in doing that. She will always show you a good time that you will never remember.

5. The Cutest Couple Ever

Sometimes in college you meet a cute couple that started dating and they are so cute you secretly wish you were them. They aren't that lame couple that doesn't go out either, you always 3rd wheel it with them and it's still a blast.

6. The Best Friend

Your collegiate BFF!!!!!! No description necessary. He/she is everything and more.

7. The Frat Star

This guy thinks he's the shit. He invites you to all his parties and you have an awesome time you never remember. You also help him write his papers because he;s kind of behind like 5 weeks, haha.

8. The Athlete

This friend is so good at sports and has a killer bod that you're secretly jealous of.

8. The Life of the Party and Classroom

This friend is smart and beautiful, he/she has got it all! This friend makes you look lazy and always motivates you to want to do more.

So whatever kind of friends you make in college go out and kill it together. These are the funniest times in your life so out make the most of it! It doesn't last forever.
