The Way To Get A Rock Hard Summer Body With One Decision

Summer is right around the corner people so you know what that means, pool parties and beach time!

(And Graduation for me, hehe)

Lets back up a little bit to the beginning of the year when everyone makes their New Years Resolutions to either lose weight/or try to hit the gym more. Hey, we've all been there. Life gets super busy and you find yourself not wanting to hit the gym and maybe hit the bar instead.

I wish it was that easy for me. Unforunately my body gets severely achy and uncomfortable when I do not move around (which you may find weird because I am sitting most of the day.) I like to give people this analogy, if you are driving across the country and you couldn't get out of the car once to stand up or stretch, that is exactly how I feel 24/7. And no, you never get used to it.

Even though my workouts are a lot different than they used to be and I am a heck of a lot busier than I ever was I try to incorporate a little form of exercise into every day of my life. Whether that is doing a couple reps of sit ups or reps of squats. The important of it is you are challneging your body daily. It is very easy to get into a routine and not do anything. I'm telling you that is the worst thing you can do for your body. As unforunate as it was to endure the type of accident I had, I would of been so much worse off if I wasn't in shape.

The key maintaining a healthy lifestyle whether you are dieting on a meal plan or are trying to get back into the gym, is to do everything in portions. If you do everything small at first then work your way up you will find much more success that way. It is very easy to want to go full-force at the gym, but when you haven't worked out in awhile and are out of shape that is the worst thing you can do for your body. You don't want to sprain or tear anything suddently.

So the question I ask you is this, are you satisfied with the way you are treating your body or do you think you can do better? The decision is yours to make.

But when making that decision, keep in to mind this is the only body you will ever get. So start treating it like it! Stop going out until 3am every weekend and hit the treadmil for an extra 30 minutes or hell go take a hike. Because YOU CAN.

There have been so many times where I wish nothing more that I could go for a run. I used to love running so much, it used to be one of my favorite things. So if you're not running for your pleasure, then run for someone who cannot. But again, the decision is yours to make.

Lastly, don't start exercising or dieting because "summer" is coming up, do it because it feels good and is good for you. Change your habits, make it a way of life in small portions and then maybe in big portions later. Your body will thank you for it in the years to come, I promise you that!

If not you, then who?

If not now, then when?
