Okay guys it's a new year and what better way to change it up than to spice up your room!

When I first got to college and looked at my room, it was so blah. By "blah" I mean everything was so WHITE. The walls were white and it needed some serious TLC.

But designing a room can be extremely overwhelming, especially adding moving all your stuff on top of that. So whether you're in a dorm, apartment or whatever I have a couple easy tips for you to make your room a little more exciting.

*Add posters

They can be movie posters, hot guys/girls, etc. It adds flavor to your room and it takes up wall space!

*Add pictures!

It's hard moving away from home so add some pictures of your friends and fam so you can see them everyday.

*Add bullentin boards

You can fill them with daily reminders to help you stay on track throughout your busy days.

*Add sassy signs

It will give your room a little extra sass, which is always good ;)

*Add great smelling candles

*Make your desk your sanctuary

The best place for doing your makeup and homework.

*Add twinkle lights

For those nights you want to just relax by yourself with a good movie on. The twinkle lights give the best ambiance.

*Get a new comforter for the new year

Your bed has to be perfect. It has to be a place where you can go after a long day and just relax. So go out there and treat yourself to an amazing down comforter, you'll be happy you did.
