Why Girls Love "Getting Ready"

So unlike Beyonce, we didn't wake up like this.

But there's hope for all of us to have Queen Bey potential and that is what I like to call the process of "getting ready." When I say it's a process, that is no joke. As much time as us girls enjoy going shopping for hours, trying stuff on in the dressing room, sending pics of ourselves to our girlfriends for approval is as much as we love getting ready for the night.

But getting ready for the night is no easy task. Some girls prefer getting ready on their own, but many girls like to get ready with their gals for a night out on the town. Boys don't understand why it takes us so long to get ourselves ready. Well it's not just because we're doing our makeup, curling our hair, trying on 15 different outfits, we are simply enjoying beautifying ourselves. It is just the worst when people are trying to rush you to get ready faster you're just like, "YOU CAN'T RUSH PERFECTION!" You have to have certain things to make the experience relaxing and enjoyable.

First, you need a bumping playlist. For me, I always love jamming to the 90s playlist, some old Britney then some Spice Girls. Then of course we switch it over to some A$AP and 50 cent to really get me in the mood for the night. Then you need some wine. Because of course you're gonna be thirsty after belting all those 90s tunes out ;) You need pizza because obviously there's no food at the club. You then need lipstick, preferably red. Because red lips are like a cute pair of heels, no one is able to resist them. You snap a couple selfies with your ladies and upload them to Instagram because everyone needs to see how hot you look, duh.
