Why Your Boyfriend Needs to Understand and Respect Girls Night

It has been once said that, “Maybe boys are just people we have fun with and our girlfriends are actually our soul mates.”

But hey don’t get me wrong I love my man but I LOVE my girls. There is nothing worse than a demanding boyfriend, one that doesn’t let you hang out with your girls or one that gives you a hard time when you want to go out with your lady friends. Boyfriends that don’t trust you enough to let you have a girls night out on the town are probably the most annoying thing ever to me. Most of the time we don’t want to go out we just want to stay in and soak up each others’ awesomeness. Lolz.

Much like Vegas, what happens at girls night stays at girls night. But I’ll give you a little sneak peak into why girls night is necessary on all grounds. Here are the 9 reasons why us girls need our girlfriends and girls night.

1. Girls night is necessary because stories. Obviously we can text each other 24/7, but that only gives a solid 50% of the actual story, I need to see you and get your approval to completely finish the story.

2. Girls night is necessary because we need to vent. Of course, we tell our boyfriends things and they are so sweet when they get us chocolate and tampons. But lets be real, no one can cry over a sad movie on your period as well as your girlfriends. It brings you inner peace.

3. Girls night is necessary because we need their opinions. Our boyfriends and life can drive us crazy. Sometimes we feel insecure, and go on crazy sprees but it is our girlfriends that bring us back down to earth. They can put me back in line when I need to be. I don’t get mad either because I love them.

4. Girls night is necessary because alcohol. Beer, wine, hard alcohol…. we don’t discriminate.

5. Girls night is necessary because shows. Yeah, your guy watches Vampire Diaries with you but he lets be real he hates it. Your girls understand the need to watch dumb shows all while taking it super seriously and are all equally upset when your favorite character dies. #RIPBillCompton

6. Girls night is necessary because no judgement. We’ve all done things were not proud of, but our girls soften the blow for us a little ;)

7. Girls night is necessary because breakdown of the new Cosmopolitan. Enough, said.

8. Girls night is necessary because junk food. Pizza and ice-cream go together and if you can’t accept that than BYE.

9. Girls night because cuddling. Big comfy blankets, a fire, and a scary movie you won’t hear from us for hours.

So come on ladies, don’t be one of those girls who lives under the boyfriend rock. And boyfriends share your girl! Your girl needs her girls. Besides, if you don’t have the approval of your girl’s girlfriends who knows what will happen to you ;)
